📖 How to use the Learning Park
A quick guide for learners. It takes about two minutes to read.
1. Sign in
Click Sign in with Google on the login page. Your plane, weapons and progress are saved to your account. Signing in here does not sign you in to Upklass.
2. Your home page at a glance
Three cards show your overall progress, your next chapter and your day streak with badges. Use Map view for the game map, or List view for a plain table of contents.
3. The flight board
Your yellow plane starts in its hangar and flies clockwise around the park. Each completed chapter moves it forward, and at 100% it lands in the centre. The other planes show the cohort average, the top learner and the median, so you can see how you compare.
4. The campaign map
Each section is a battlefield and each course is a mission. Click a building, or the mission button under the map, to open the course. The weapon beside it grows as you learn, and its ammo shows how much you have finished: red under 50%, amber from 50%, green from 80%.
Study plan and status card
Set how many hours a day and how many days a week you can study. The Study plan card estimates your finish date and tracks whether you are on pace. Your status card is a playing card: the rank starts at 2 and climbs through 10, Jack, Queen and King to the Ace at 100%, and the suit shows your pace. Club (green) is ahead, Diamond (blue) is on track, Heart (red) is behind, Spade (black) is not started, and a Spade with a gold edge means you finished.
Team overview
Open Team in the top bar to see how every learner is doing: progress, chapters done, streak, pace and last activity. You can hide yourself with the switch at the top of that page.
5. Learning a chapter
Open a mission, pick a chapter and read its notes on the chapter page. The video plays on Upklass: press Open on Upklass and sign in there with your own Upklass account. Write your own notes in the Rest area (saved on this device only).
6. Mark chapters complete
After you finish a chapter, press Mark chapter complete. Your progress, plane, weapons, streak and badges update straight away.
7. Badges and events
The Gift Shop shows the badges you have earned and how to earn the rest. Activity Events lists upcoming quizzes, live sessions and assignments.
8. Language and motion
Switch between EN, 繁 and 简 at the top right. If you prefer less movement, turn on reduced motion in your device settings: animations stop and the maps stay still.
9. Common questions
I cannot see a video: some courses are not connected yet, so ask the admins. My progress went back to 0: this early version keeps progress in memory, so ask the admins about saving it permanently. Sign-in is blocked: ask the admins to add your Google email. The text is in another language: course titles are shown as written on Upklass; Chinese ones appear in the script of the language you chose.
